The vFit is a non-invasive vaginal rejuvenation device for use in the comfort of your own home. Created by a female entrepreneur and a team of expert OB/GYNs, vFit is the first medically and scientifically backed device of its kind. Its patented red light technology encourages blood flow to the vulva and vagina which stimulates the tissue to promote strength, improved wellness, sensation, sexual function, and, most importantly, confidence.

Features:

  • Sleek ergonomic design
  • Warm, soothing, pain free vibration
  • Wireless
  • Non invasive, no prescription, no doctor's visits
  • Backed by doctors and scientists
  • FDA designated General Wellness Device

Getting started is easy! First, be sure to charge your vFit for at least 24 hours before first use. We recommend you use a clear, water-based gel like Phototonic gel to help with insertion of the device. Apply a desired amount of gel – a dime-sized amount is a good starting point. Next, turn on your vFit by pressing the power button. Choose your light mode and press the button to get started. Then lie back, relax, and know you're improving your intimate wellness. For more information on how to use vFit watch the video below.

How often to use:

Use your device regularly. As with any exercise regimen, it takes time to notice results. In a consumer study, women used their devices every other day for 10 minutes per day. Over the course of 60 days, women noticed an improvement in intimate wellness, enhanced comfort and pleasure with intercourse, and increased confidence. They then used the device on an ongoing basis, once or twice per week for maintenance. As we all know, you must continue to work out in order to maintain your great results. If you have the professional model, vFit PLUS, work up to using your device 12 minutes every other day.

How to clean:

Using a soft, non-abrasive cloth, gently clean vFit with warm water and antibacterial soap prior to first use and after each subsequent use. Rinse vFit thoroughly to ensure all soap residue is removed. Let vFit air dry and store in a cool, dry location protected from dirt or dust.

Don’t immerse your vFit or vFit PLUS in water or place in a dishwasher, sterilizer, or autoclave. Don’t use cleaning solutions which may damage your vFit or vFit PLUS and their electronics or allow the electronic controls and charging port to get wet.

Vaginal Rejuvenation

The idea that vaginas can lose their elasticity and become loose forever as a result of having a lot of sex is a misconception.

Your vagina may become slightly looser as you age or have children, but overall, the muscles expand and retract just like a rubber band.

The myth of a “loose” vagina has historically been used as a way to shame women for their sexuality.  A “loose” vagina isn’t used to describe a woman who has a lot of sex with one partner; It’s primarily used to describe a woman who has had sex with more than one man.

But penetration won’t cause your vagina to stretch out permanently, so it doesn’t matter who you have sex with or how often.

Only two things can affect your vagina’s elasticity: age and childbirth.

Women who’ve had more than one vaginal birth are more likely to have weakened vaginal muscles. In addition, the vaginal and perineal tears that occur during delivery have the potential to weaken elasticity and and change the diameter of the opening of your vagina.  If you’ve had multiple vaginal deliveries, your vaginal muscles are more likely to lose a little bit of elasticity. If you’re uncomfortable with this, there are exercises (pelvic floor strengthening or Kegel exercises) that can help strengthen your vaginal floor muscles before, during, and after pregnancy.

These muscles are part of your core and help support your bladder, rectum, intestines, and uterus

In addition, similar to the process that occurs in your skin, aging can cause your vagina to lose natural elasticity, regardless of whether you’ve had children.

A drop in estrogen levels after menopause leads to a changes on the elasticity of your vaginal tissue

A loss of estrogen means your vaginal tissue will become thinner, drier, less acidic, and less elastic.  Your doctor might recommend prescription strength estrogen cream to combat the loss of estrogen being made by your ovaries.  There are also several over the counter options available at intimate wellness shop that may help with moisture and lubrication in particular.  There are also some surgical techniques that may be helpful such as laser rejuvenation, but these should always be thoroughly discussed with your doctor first.

If you’re concerned about changes to your vagina, reach out to your doctor to discuss what’s bothering you. They can help ease your concerns and advise you on any next steps.
